I received a Masters’ Degree in Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (1984) with a concentration on Painting. I studied with various members of The Hairy Who and Chicago Imagists. These included Roger Brown, Christina Ramberg and Karl Wirsum. In addition to showing my paintings and mixed media work, for some years I did Environmental and Performance-Installation work with the group Projects for a New Millennium. I now devote myself almost exclusively to Fine Art Photography, in which I am solely self-taught. I have shown my work in New York, Chicago, New Haven, Denver, Minneapolis, Los Angeles, Rome, Barcelona, Estes Park and in various print and on-line venues.
